Chinese brand DFSK is set to start selling a seven-seat budget SUV in the UK this year, "targeted at the business and municipal sectors". Named the Glory 580, it was revealed in its homeland back in 2016 under the Fengguang banner.

DFSK has built four-vehicle factories, two in Hubei Shiyan Production Base China and two in Chongqing Production Base China. DFSK is pursuing the world-class quality of technology and service. It's the first in the Chinese mini auto industry to attain the certification for EURO III, EURO IV, EURO V, EURO VI, and WVTA.

DFSK operates in 8 manufacturing sites with its major plant situated within China and Indonesia to cater to the majority of South East Asia, along with 6 plants within China with several others around the world, which has R&D distributed across China, Germany, Japan and USA.

At its debut, the Yu'an Group changed its name to Chongquin Sokon Industry Group (abbreviated to Sokon in English or Xiaokang in Chinese) and the joint venture consequently became Dongfeng Sokon Automobile (abbreviated to DFSK).
